DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS PROGRAM ON TA088v3 PSP-2000 and PSP-3000 IN DANGER OF MAKING YOUR PSP TOTALLY UNUSABLE WITHOUT USING THE RECOVERING.

FOR OTHER READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY TO AVOID MISTAKE IN HANDLING (installing official firmware for example).

Prerequisite:

This installer works on any PSP-1000 or PSP-2000 already custom firmware 4.01 M33 or higher (as 5.00M33 example) unless the 5.50GEN-B (1). You can install directly 5.50GEN-D3 since all these firmwares, without intermediate stages except the 5.50GEN-B (1) where it will, first, install the Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-B2 can then switch 5.50GEN -D3.

* Do not leave a custom theme on your PSP.
Settings> Themes Settings> Theme> Original

* Do not leave screen custom
Settings> Themes> Background> Original

Installation:

* Download XGen Updater for 5.50GEN-D3
* Connect your PSP to the computer via USB
* Take your PSP in “USB mode” with the option “USB Connection”
* Click the right mouse button on the file you downloaded,
* Choose “Extract Files …” (WinRAR is advised)
* Choose like destination the letter assigned to your PSP from your computer.
* Press OK and wait extraction files,
* Leave the “USB mode” on your PSP
* Go to the menu Thursday> Memory Stick to start XGen Updater for 5.50GEN-D3

PSP CFW 6.10Gen & 6.20Gen

PSP CFW 6.10Gen & 6.20Gen is in the works by PSPGen team, Do not know if this will be for PSP or PSP Go models at the moment . The news was release on their site just a few hours ago, And it has gotten a few attentions from the PSP Homebrew Community and Fans from PSPGen .

There is no news from the developer about the release of this new PSP Custom Firmware and or features it will have, But one thing for sure , The Developer has stated, That is the PSP CFW 6.10gen or 6.20gen is release, That most if not all Homebrew applications and games will not be compatible.

Although some people believe that we are not able to do is far from being the reason for the non-release of a custom Firmware 6.xxGEN. In principle, our devs are well advanced on this subject but we all agreed on the relative uselessness of placing an online 6.xxGEN.

“Are they mad?”, You probably think. In fact, unless there appears even if you can imagine when reading these lines.

Upload a 6.xxGEN, involve a lot of little worries unnecessary appendices. In fact, we arrived with the 6.xx to a point which recalls the passage of homebrew 1.xx to 3.xx but one of the worse. Indeed, the 6.xx can no longer launch the ELF in the state and must repack all programs to make them compatible with the new system from Sony. In addition, tools such as hacking PSPLink and company are no longer compatible and must be adapted. This does not mean that it will not happen but it seems now that all this upheaval is not worth the trouble for so little gain.

PSP Go News – PSPgo CFW 6.10 Typhoon

PSP Go News – PSPgo CFW 6.10 on the way according to sources online and especially from the PSP Custom Firmware Developer itself which for this release it seem to be the same PSP Developer who has release PSP ChickHen a few months ago, Yes you have heard correct . Team Typhoon are the Team behind the new PSPgo CFW 6.10 which still does not have any release date. However the tam state in their description, That they don’t plan to release the public nor any PSP Dev anytime soon.

So will the PSPGo finally be hack, Well over the few weeks we have heard about news exploit being found on the PSPGo and being exploited, I guess the time it has finally arrive . Thanks to hard work from the PSP Homebrew Community, The PSPGo may not be possible to have a PSPgo Custom Firmware install.

What do I need?
- A PSP (Model 1000 or 2000 (not cursed)) with the ability to load homebrew.

How to use:
Copy the folder “UPDATE” to your Memory Stick in “X: / PSP / GAME /” and run it from the “Game”
IMPORTANT: When you finish the update and asked to press “X”, it is important you give it, but you’ll have a brick.

Common Errors:

- I do not work the way NP9660 –
- This driver does not work now in this version, use the No-UMD mode M33. –
- I do not work for network upgrade –
- This version is not yet implemented.

This is custom firmware for PSP consoles 1000 and 2000 (no plates or higher TA-88v3).

In the current version is not possible to run games with Mode NP9660 (But how M33 has the same consistency) and updates the Web

Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-B : Qu’est ce donc ?

Notre nouveau Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-b est enfin disponible et c’est avec bonheur que nous vous en faisons profiter

Il faut cependant reconnaître que si notre première version tournait parfaitement, nous n’avions pas réalisé à quel point vous étiez attachés aux “plus” offerts par nos Custom Firmwares en général (option de pandorisation, recovery in VSH, fonction d’extinction de la console, etc…). Il est vrai que toutes ces petites gateries sont quand même fort pratiques et nous avons donc remédié à cela en les rajoutant dans le 5.50GEN-b.

Le petit “bonus”

Notre Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-B permet de jouer au jeu Evangelion : Jo sans avoir à patcher l’ISO du jeu. Ce petit bonus est malheureusement encore instable car la protection de Bendai/Sony est très bien faite et mérite un coup de chapeau. Cependant, si vous avez envie de l’essayer, il vous faut lancer le jeu, appyer sur start au moment où le jeu le demande et enchainer très vite le haut + rond qui va démarrer la partie. Ne pas trop trainer dans cette séquence car la protection n’est levée que pour quelques secondes. Notez bien que la protection se réactive régulièrement et que si vous revenez au menu vous serez prié de quitter le jeu. S’il est possible de jouer, il sera sna sdoute impossible de partir d’une sauvegarde. Notez bien que ce bonus est un POC (proof of concept) plus qu’une réelle fonctionnalité. Nous ferons un article sur la façon dont est protégé le jeu et pourquoi c’est difficile à contrer.

Les nouveautés du 5.50GEN-B sont :

* Le bug qui empêchait de désactiver le VSH Menu a été résolu.
* La Touche select peut soit lancer le Recovery (Recovery in VSH), soit le VSH Menu (par défaut) ou bien ne rien faire du tout (pratique pour ceux qui utilisent la commande de lecture distante entre PSP et Ps3 )
* Mise à jour réseau M33 désactivée
* Le jeu Evangelion Jo peut être lancé.
* Les options de pandorisation sont disponibles dans le VSH Menu et le Recovery
* Option Format Flash1 : ajout d’un check qui empêche de formater le Flash1 si l’on est dans le VSH.
* 3 nouvelles fonctions dans le VSH Menu
o Shutdown device (éteindre)
o Make Normal Battery (remet la batterie en mode standard)
o Make pandora Battery (pandodrise la batterie)
