PSPGo Firmware 6.10 Exploit Release

PSP Go Hack presents you with – PSPGo Firmware 6.10 Exploit Release earlier today by PSP Homebrew Developer Coder known as Freeplay who has discover the exploit using a save data game from a popular PSP Game known as Archer Maclean’s Mercury . This exploit will just let you exploit the PSP Firmware 6.10 on the PSP Go, But still is not able to load any eloader to run psp go custom firmware .

However, with this release, it’s just matter of time before one of the PSP Custom Firmware developer take avangtage of this release of this Firmware 6.10 exploit to be able to release some type of eloader for the PSP Go .

Here is a bit of information of what Freeplay had to say about this release .

I told you it wasn’t fake, but some of you still didn’t believe me. You need firmware 6.10 or below, and the game of course. The exploit was patched in 6.20, and the PSN version of the game was updated to require 6.20. The eLoader isn’t happening at all unless I can get a 6.10 firmware dump from the Go, which this exploit can’t do. It would probably be best to wait until an XMB-based exploit comes along… game-based exploits are too easy to block.

PSP Go News – PSPgo CFW 6.10 Typhoon

PSP Go News – PSPgo CFW 6.10 on the way according to sources online and especially from the PSP Custom Firmware Developer itself which for this release it seem to be the same PSP Developer who has release PSP ChickHen a few months ago, Yes you have heard correct . Team Typhoon are the Team behind the new PSPgo CFW 6.10 which still does not have any release date. However the tam state in their description, That they don’t plan to release the public nor any PSP Dev anytime soon.

So will the PSPGo finally be hack, Well over the few weeks we have heard about news exploit being found on the PSPGo and being exploited, I guess the time it has finally arrive . Thanks to hard work from the PSP Homebrew Community, The PSPGo may not be possible to have a PSPgo Custom Firmware install.

PSP Go News – PSP Go Homebrew on the way ?

Well pretty lately PSP Custom Firmware Developer Team PSPGen has been a bit busy lately with trying to exploit the PSP go to it’s full potential and little by little it seem that the psp custom firmware developer are working hard to get a chance to enable the homebrew on the PSPgo for the PSP homebrew Community .

If you won’t take it from Freeplay, then perhaps you would from MaGiXieN. As explained many times over, the hack has yet to have access to kernel mode, so no HEN for the PSP Go just yet.

PSP Go News – PSPgo may be Hackable by exploit

PSP Go News – PSP may be Hackable by exploit , well guys, as some of ya know may know by now. The PSP Go is able to be exploited by the old method use in the PSP 1000 , 2000 , 3000 models according to the article wish will be available below. But now it seem Sony has not fix the problem which it had let the homebrew community to exploit to b able to run their homebrew which a video I will provide below . If that is not enough to excite you then maybe this will if you have not heard about it, The PSPGo battery has been able to be removed and replace according to some PSP Users and article about the finding which also will be available below .

I guess with all this finding it will be possible to run some type of Homebrew Enabler on the PSP Go which will make the PSP Community as Happy Group of PSP Fan . I know for sure their soon will be a PSP Go Custom Firmware made available soon to enable homebrew compatibility on the PSP Go .

You remember when Sony said that the PSPgo battery would be untouchable in an effort to curb piracy? Well, it turns out that the battery can be removed, but that Sony thought it could simply slap a warranty-voiding sticker over the thing to try and dissuade people, rather than employ some sort of competent security.

That’s about the only reason I can think of for Sony doing this, effectively ending the warranty of anybody who feels the need to replace their PSPgo battery. The battery itself is not soldered in place, which makes this sticker a rather lazy (and likely ineffective) way of discouraging homebrewers from screwing with the machine’s innards. Not to mention the fact that iFixit believes patient pirates will be able to slip the battery out while leaving the sticker intact.

I came across what seem to be a very interesting piece of information. A hacked PSP Go using the Exploit Hello World .. It seem Sony hard work in trying to stop piracy on their PSP Go system has been defeated once again by PSP Hackers . So will it be possible now to run PSP Custom firmware on the PSP Go. Well with the look of this video, I guess within a few weeks we will see a eloader for the PSP Go or some type of ChickHen to enable PSP Custom firmware on the PSP Go.

PSPGo News – Dark Alex not releasing PSP CFW 6.00

Well sorry to tell ya guys, But according to the Wiki on Dark Alex website, there are no plans for the release of PSP Custom Firmware 6.00 M33 anytime soon. That does not mean they wont release the Custom Firmware but only currently now they dont have any plans .

Me personally I wonder what has happen to Dark Alex releasing any new PSP Custom Firmware lately. But it seem PSP CFW 5.00 has been so good and working pretty stable that they have not been any need to release any PSP Custom Firmware. However, So users have complaint that will out a newer release of PSP Custom firmware, they wont be able to play the latest games. I wonder if that is the only reason why users want PSP Custom Firmware to play Backup games . What ever happen to PSP Homebrew Application and games. Even though over the years a lot of users have gotten use to playing homebrews games and application, but pretty lately all this newbie want to do is play backup games only . Not knowing that they are not only hurting the game developers but the PSP Custom Firmware developers as well .

PSP Go News – PSP Go Piracy

As we all know. The PSP was hack within a few months of it’s release thanks to Dark Alex a Spanish Custom Firmware Developer and Homebrew Developer back in 2005-2006 . HE has open the doors for a community we now know as Homebrew . Ever since the PSP 1000 has been release hackers has been able to hack it with out much issue . Even though as the firmware was release by sony to close any backdoor that hacker might use to exploit the system, IT seem that hackers has been one step behind of Sony, Usually taking a few weeks to hack a firmware that sony release in some cases days after the official firmware has been release.

With the new PSP Go being release. Sony has taken a big measure in stopping hacker on their track with their new PSP Go hardware . You see the Battery within the PSPGo will not be removable according to Sony. Some wonder what will happen if the battery breaks down or need replacement. Still have not heard anything from Sony regarding this Issue .

However, Some online gaming blog has been a bit on sony side saying that psp custom firmware give users the ability to play ISO and CSO games. While that might be issue. PSP Custom Firmware Developers has stated that they fully release the PSP Custom Firmware not for the pirate of the games, But to give the PSP community more way to enjoy the PSP they have but not for game but for multi purpose which why homebrews were created.

With the release of homebrews, PSP users have been able to do stuff on their PSP that Sony would have not though about and or open the doors for the development of some of this homebrew games. However, with the release of PSP Go. It seem Sony now will be offering some type of application for the PSP Go in their PSN store.

Most PSP Custom Firmware developers believe that if Sony offer homebrews compatibility for the PSP , They really wont be making any more PSP Custom Firmware as it was aim to give users a chance to run homebrews on their PSP. So sony might want to think about it . Me personally ,I play a few homebrews games and use some cool application for my PSP, The one I like the most is the PSP Remote to control TV, DVD etc. That is one of the first homebrew I have install on my pc and 2 years later im still using it .

But back to the piracy issue with Sony . Sony seem to be forgetting that hackers will eventually will end up hacking their PSP Firmware has they been in the past. Wasting Sony time and money in the creating of firmware that was supposed to fix this problem. One thing we could all look forward to is in Oct 23rd of 2009 a day after the PSP Go release. From their we hopefully find out for sure, What hackers think about the firmware install and hardware on the PSP Go. Me personally, I believe hackers will end up hacking the PSP Go and eventually make Sony think about letting Unofficial Homebrews run on the PSP . If they are able to do that, Then will for sure help put a stop to piracy in the game industry.

Remember that PSP Custom Firmware was not developer to give users a chance to play ISO games and or CSO games, But a chance for any regular psp users to create a homebrew or play a homebrew on their PSP . Something the official firmware wont allowed after PSP Firmware 1.5 .

PSP Go News – PSP Go is it worth buying ?

Well it seem pretty lately all over online everyone is talking about the price release from sony showing that games that are available for download will cost the same as the on being sold on retail stores . I wonder why Sony decided to do this. In japan their download service is cheaper out there then their retailer store. But here in the US , Prices apply to both item. I guess we wont be getting any retail games cheaper if we download it. But according to some gamers, So PSP Go users are thinking twice now before buying a PSP Go , Will it be worth it now for the PSP Go to be purchase by PSP fans ? Don’t forget that last week Sony has mention that the PSP Go internal battery will not be replaceable . In order to conbat piracy which I dont blame them .

However one thing I notice, The closer we get to the release of the PSP Go the more surprise we get . Me personally , IF the PSP Go features are started to get limitted compare to other PSP models, Then why really buy a PSP Go . IF with the old model one could probably do more and guaranteed to be able to play some homebre games as well as UMD and download game , Compare to the new PSP Go which will probably only play downloaded media.

So for the PSP Go being price at 249.99 and the PS3 being price at 299.99 . I wonder which one will be worth buying ..
